Carbon Boost gauge Pod A6/RS6

So I know no one make a boost gauge for our cars at all I am working with a fabricator here in the States (local to me) to get some carbon steering column (off center) gauge pods made. They will be very similar to those of which newsouth makes for the a4/s4





IM am looking to see how much intrest there is in this product also about how much people would be willing to spend on one of these since plastic ones run about 130.00 for an a4 and these will be made of CF or maybe a paintable fiberglass option.

I would be interested....although I really like the idea of the low profile vent pod. A CF gauge pod on the dash vent would be pretty bad ass.

your car doesn't require a boost gauge..unless you turbo'd it recently .

When you say the gauge pods are similar to the New South pods, are you just having this fabricater make a mold of the New South Pod for the B5 A4/S4?

No im not as the A4 pods wont fit the RS6 or A6 I will be taking the steering column and making a mold around it. So it will be a custom one off mold not replicating someone elses product.

So, will the final piece be a "cap" that sticks on the the original upper column (like new south), or a replacement piece for the upper column (like Podi)?

It will be more like a cap like New South and will be made of carbon but I will look into actuallt making this into a replacement part ill have to look and see what I am getting into

That's cool either way. I was just curious. I'd definitely be interested. Please put me on the list. I am not concerned with the perfect CF weave or finish either, so I'd take the first sample out of the mold evern if its fiberglass so long as it fits.
