    Getting some head work done

Some of you may know my TB went out last week and ruined some valves, I am not sure how many yet as I am still waiting on the head removal tool. My question is I know head work is expensive is there anything I can do while it's there to go ahead and build up some internals? I mean if I wrecked more than half of my valves I might as well do some upgrades while I'm in there. I don't know much about Audis as far as performance with engine internals, any idea or suggestions are welcomed. My car is pretty much stock besides suspension and a Borla exhaust. Thanks guys.

If you damaged some valves then there might be some damage to the tops of the pistons.

Both your intake and exhaust valves messed up? I'd put in Ferrea exhaust valves. You can do ferrea or supertech intake valves or just stick with new oem intake valves if you want to keep the cost down. Intake valves live a fairly easy life and you only "have" to upgrade the intake valves from oem if you are pushing over 500hp. OEM exhaust valves are junk. Have to go aftermarket on those. You'll need new valve guides. I'd also think about replacing the springs while you're in there. Cat makes good aftermarket springs at a reasonable cost.

i have a complete AEB head for sale if you need the parts off of it. the only issue with it is a piece of metal got chipped off when i broke a valve but the valves were replaced on that cylinder
