    Hypothetical brake swap

I have a hypothetical question for the experts if you don't mind.
Its VERY hypothetical, but here it goes.

Is it possible to swap brakes from a B7A4 to a B6A4? As in the Rotor and calipers. ie. put the B6 brakes on the B7 and vice versa?

    The B6 has 312mm rotors. B7 has 320mm rotors.

Reason being I was thinking about doing a swap, so I could take advantage of the B7 caliper and get the larger rotors..?

What parts would I need to do the swap?
Obviously new carriers for the larger rotors once on the B6.
But would the B6 brakes and carriers bolt straight back onto the B7?

I got this idea from the following information..hope this all makes sense.

    B6A4 3.0- Same Caliper as B6A4 1.8t
    Front Rotor: 312x25
    Rear Rotor: 255x12

    B7A4- Same Caliper as B6S4 & B7S4
    Front Rotor: 320x30
    Rear Rotor: 288x12

    B7S4- Same Caliper as B6S4 & B7A4
    Front Rotor: 345x30
    Rear Rotor: 300x20
