Anyone installed a turbo timer

i had one on my b5 and it was a good/nice thing to have to let the car cool down.
Are they a good idea for the 2.0t (with mods)?
Can it be done?
Any DIY posts?

I wouldn't see it being too difficult... I had one in my B5 as well...

It definitely came in handy for those quick runs to the store and don't feel like sitting there waiting on the door open chime to shut off...

I'll check my bentley manual tonight to see if 1) I have access to view A4 info (I think I do) and 2) for a wiring diagram...

It can be done but the key fob is useless until the engine shuts down. The door has to be locked manually and the alarm will not arm. Not too sure if the TT companion works with the B7 either. A lot of people will tell you that a TT with the stock ko3 is not necessary but whatevers…
