how much do you think you're getting to the wheels A4 addict? What made you choose APR over Revo? Sorry, don't want this to be a chip thread... i just want A4addicts personal decision factors. Maybe he's already gone over the thought processes that i, newb A4 owner, will have to go through, but am too anxious to wait through.

Because of the trial graphs comparing APR and Revo on 2.0TFSI's that Eurocode showed me. For 2.0TFSI engines, APR peaked better than Revo. But very slight though. I feel 200 on the wheel, but I'm not sure. I'll dyno soon so I'll let you guys know. Although Revo's very popular on 1.8T's because of slightly better performance than APR.

But then again, these are slight differences. People would mostly go for the closest shop they have locally. For me, it just so happened that Eurocode is the closest to my house that has the APR and Revo. If they flashed GIAC, I'd probably go GIAC.

So to answer your question... maybe I went APR because I tried out the APR trial program and I loved it. If I had the Revo trial, I probably would've went Revo.

Or maybe it's the smog, I don't fuckin' know. Just chip your car, you'll be happy.

Dude, I had the same sentiment when I had my VW GLI VR6 towards the 04 GLI 1.8T's. I couldn't believe these dumbass 2.8 engines being stupid-owned by little 1.8 engines . If you ever visit Norfolk, there's a quarter mile straightaway towards gate 2 of the base. I lost a lot of money on that straightway to little stupid-ass 1.8T's that were chipped.

4 years later, I bought a 2.0T because knowing is half the battle.... G.I. Jooooeeee!!!!

Well I'm lucky and scorned at the same time cause there is an APR and Revo dealer each within just a few miles (under 5) from my house. My intention is to get chipped regardless and then I will do sexy time all over stock A4's!
