    longer extended lug?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I recently added a 7mm spacers all around on the wheels with ET33.
I'm looking to buy some 40mm extended lugs because with the spacers i added 7mm i should get the 35mm extended lugs instead, 28mm (stock lug) + 7mm spacers = 35mm; however I'm planning to go with 10mm spacers in the rear in the near future. So the front should have 5mm extra thread to go in and 2mm extra for the rear. I just wanna make sure if it is ok to do so or do i have to get the exact length for the lugs.

    thanks.

Whomever sold you the spacers should have sold you the bolts for your specific application at the same time. The concern is if you go longer than needed you may have the bolt hit the rotor / caliper / something else.

The place you are sourcing your spacers from should be selling you the correct and recommended stud length for the application your running. Im not sure what the exact stud length thats needed for a 10mm spacer.
