Insane........this has happened to someone I indirectly know, only the person I know was killed instantly.

Happened to my dad's client's son, who was driving down a freeway with his family in the car (a wife and two kids), and I believe my father told me they also were in a Bimmer (wwwweiird). The tire bounced over the divide, came flying straight thru the windshield and smashed the man squarely, killing him instantly. The guy from the Bimmer forum sounds religious, and he should be thanking God that he is alive, not to mention the fact it doesn't sound like he'll have any life-altering injuries.

As horrible as stories like this are, I like getting a wake-up call to appreciate life every once in a while......
