    longer extended lug?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I recently added a 7mm spacers all around on the wheels with ET33.
I'm looking to buy some 40mm extended lugs because with the spacers i added 7mm i should get the 35mm extended lugs instead, 28mm (stock lug) + 7mm spacers = 35mm; however I'm planning to go with 10mm spacers in the rear in the near future. So the front should have 5mm extra thread to go in and 2mm extra for the rear. I just wanna make sure if it is ok to do so or do i have to get the exact length for the lugs.

    thanks.

    Re: longer extended lug?

What i did to make my life easier was i brought extend Studs and then i solved my problem in (1) putting on wheels and trying to line up with the lug and (2) using any size spacer

you could get them from performance cafe and they are cheap.. ( 80 for all wheels with Lugs)

If you put lugs in that are to long then your hub won't move (read: car won't roll).

Rated S, how long is too long? would extra 3 to 5mm consider be too long?
