Ok, Wtf happened to my audio?

long story short... my car got impounded for 2 month and the battery died couple times, today i got the car, re-charged the battery. when i tried to turn on my radio.. it doesnt work anymore... all the display had nothing on. but all my other electric works including ac..

any idea what should i do here?

I'm not sure which fuse it is exactly, but look it up in the owner manual. The fuse panel is located on the left side of the dash. Open the drivers door and look for a plastic cover on the side of the dash. There will be 2 or 3 spots where you can pry a little screw driver underneath it and pop it off. Replace the fuse and see if it works.

hmm, the thing is that the audio display doesn't display anything like asking me to enter radio code or so.. it's like dead.. no lights on it at all

This is an anti-theft feature. You need to get the security code and enter it in usin the buttons on the radio.

Does it say "SAFE" on the front? That would be it being in security mode. check your owners manual for fuses.

nope , it doesnt say that, its just blank, nothing showing there, like it doesnt have power at all.

Is it an aftermarket radio? A lot of aftermarket ones have the fuse on the back of the unit.

This happened exactly to me, had my car at a lot for a while. I thought I was screwed.
You have to remove the radio, there will be a fuse in the back of the radio you can get at Autozone or something, just replace it and it will work. You will most likely need the radio code afterwards.

so what if the radio is stuck? i mean, REALLY stuck. Removal tools don't work, either
