so i was looking at some stuff on lltek.com today and I found this chip type thing lltek sells. I am very skeptical since lltek is way over priced on all of their stuff and even though I bought a front lip for my old car from there and it was great quality I feel that they have raised there prices even more and stepped quality down ( now lots of their kits are fiberglass). For example there HID kits look just like one I bought online for $120 and they dont even mention if it will throw a "light malfunction" code.
Anyways they have this weird looking chip type thing. They say it doesnt leave a footprint in the ecu, but they only give a dyno chart for the 335i. Also they say it can be switched between 1.8t and 2.0t engines!!
I sounds to good and to sketchy and they have no numbers to back anything up.
Has anyone heard about this thing: check it out: http://www.lltek.com/PRS_bin/prs_138...mw_porsche.htm
Also on the b7 ecus do chips leave a so called "footprint" that even if they are off the history of them being there is stored??
