I wish i could magically turn my car into a 6 speed Manual.

Im just so bored of driving an automatic its just so boring. I love my car and im in not economic position to switch my car but just wish i would have bought a manual. Just a warning to all potential A4 owners, buy a manual!!!! I want to row.

exactly, i drive my dads RS4 when ever i get a chance, but he rarely lets me take it out.

you remember tom? my friend with the hooked up accord at the meet. he's getting a complete tranny swap to a 6speed. he ordered all the parts the other day. its $$$$

the 6-speed is fun, but to be honest I sometimes wish I had a dsg (of course not a normal auto).... It gets tiresome around these hilly areas to continuously shift from traffic, or a hill, or pedestrians, etc...

its expensive to convert. i wish i could find someone to do an outright trade, all i would do is switch over the mods.

huh honestly i used to have 01gt eclipse with nos custom paint job lowered black paint and some other goodies it was a stick. It was fun to drive and everything but living in chicago i decided to buy my a4 in tip. Main advantages of driving tip in my opinion are
1-you dont get pissed as fuck in traffic
2-you can just relax and play with the radio (ahhh i love my sub)
3-you can drive in a traffic and hold your ladies hand at the same time.
4-you don’t have to change gears while some girls is sucking your ...............finger:)
5 imagine yourself rich on the highway in a traffic drinking coffee wearing suit what transmission do you see driving ? lol (those not apply to me)
6-ever since i got my tip i stopped putting money in my car.
7- i stopped racing other people (before i got arrested for street racing 125 on a 35)

tomorrow if cool is you get them. whats your cell # matt and i'll help u out. we can do it at my house, i have a shit load of tools. mine is 000-000 im free after 3. i'll read up on the removal of the mirrors now just to get an idea. luckily i just finished my 7 page term paper and 5 page lab write up so im free tomorrow:)

I drive a manual and really enjoy it no traffic or traffic. My last car was an auto and I regretted getting an auto for the longest time. Sure it gets tiresome driving a manual in traffic (specially on the way to and at NYC), but the experience for me is well worth it.

A true DSG or Sequential-Manual gearbox is my favorite thing. Hence why the best Ferrari's sport the "F1" transmission.

However, in spite of any offers of either I opt for the 6-speed under all circumstances.

at first I got really bored with tiptronic, as it can encourage lazy driving as you dont have to pay as much attention to shifting, but I always keep it in tip. However I am only 17 years old, and I will definitely get a manual once I drive for a few more years lol

true but in my case its worst. When i drive tip i dont speed with manual i drive more aggressive speed a lot and keep rpms high
