is my car chipped

So i went to the dealer to get some warranty work done. They replaced the harness for the injectors or something like that, and they service rep told me my car was chipped. I never chipped it since i had it, but i dont know if the guy before me did anything to the car.
My question is, is my car chipped.
The car doesn't go past redline. Usually goes to 7100 before it hits the limiter. I thought that when the car is chipped the rev limiter is raised to near end or redline

what dealership? If it was Naperville, they should be cool with not voiding a warranty if you do have one.

If it's APR and you have multiple programs (like i found mine when I bought it) you can test it but turning cruise control on and then hold set button. If the CEL starts to blink then you have APR.

well it was the schaumburg dealer.
They weren't giving me any trouble about my car being modded, but they just told me it was.

maybe its on stock mode and they have a selector and messed around with ur car lol. hahah

open up the ECU and check to see if it's socketed.

That might not work because on most of the programs now they can do direct port uploads through the OBD port...
