Can 6speed pipes be modified to fit a tip? If so what needs to be done?

Here is the deal. I have a set of 6speed down pipes that I want to gut the pre cats. The extra set of pipes are in great condition, good flex joints and look brand new. The Problem is that I have a TIP. To make matters worse I have a
A6 and not a S4.

Any suggestions?

Gut and reinstall your tip pipes, sell 6spd pipes to me.

I talked to a few shops around my way and they all said it would be easier and less money and time involved with just taking your own downpipes off and gutting them, as opposed to trying to get the 6 spd to fit. From my understanding the 6 spd downpipes are a little larger then the TIPs.

Gut your own. Install them. Then gut the 6speed and sell um for 200 bucks.

I would gut my pipes but I heard doing piggies on a TIP is a huge pain in the ass so I was going to pay a shop to do it for me and install a spare set of pipes.

No shop in their right mind will gut cats for you.....will they?

yeh they will you just have to find the right one. and if you are going to do that sell me your 6speed dps ill put em to use :)
