3.0 Steering Rack, 3 Bolt...HELP?

So we tried taking out my blown steering rack, everything went smooth as it could have possibly gone. The 2 top bolts came out way easy obviously, the tie rod ends slid out like nothing, the sterring colum was a joke...all of that took us literally 6 minutes and 27 seconds...

and then, the third bolt that you are supposed to get to from underneath the vehicle...A FING NIGHTMARE! I have the 3 shit 0 and its impossible to get to the bolt from underneath the car. The heatshields, exhaust etc are all in the way and do not allow to access the bolt in any way. I tried with my buddy for 2 and half hours the first day, we bought extensions, joints, wobbly joints, we tried buying longer ratchets and going in from the driver side (from which we get the 12 point socket onto the bolt but there is no room to move the ratchet then) i tried for about another 3 hours last night after 3 of my friends tried getting to it by disassembling the suspension and therefore having more room to move the ratchet...

Does ANYBODY, have ANY idea how to remove that third bolt????? This writeup is good, everything is the same on my 3.0, but that third bolt is screwing me so so hard. I even punched in my fender like a moron cause i was so frustrated after hours of failing and getting laughed at by that stupid ass bolt.

Bentley says you need to remove the driver's side heat shield which requires pulling the cat out.

Is that something that can be done in a regular garage?

Ive done a 3.0 rack and it is very easy except for that bolt and the lines. You have to remove the drivers side cat, removing 3.0 cats sucks, and you can get to that bolt. Also, dont forget to remove the plastic centering screw from the new rack and install the shorter "plug" from you old rack.
