    Best Place for XM Reciever

I want to put XM in my S4, it currently has Sirius. Where is the best place to get an XM receiver for the car? The dealer wants $500, but there has got to be a place that has them for better prices than that.

    Thanks.

Look for someone who wants to trade. Sirus is way more sought after than XM, which is not doing so well.

Also, some dealer here, Don Rosen maybe?, had the module for sale for $99. Then there is a nice write-up on how to install it yourself, with pictures. I did mine, went off without a hitch.
    Platinum Extended Warranty Mod
    Hoen Xenonmatch Fogs
    Fast Intentions Catback (R,XP)

Unfortunately sold (traded-in). Dealer is looking to move her for a good price. PM for details and I'll get you in touch.

XM and Sirius are scheduled to merge this year anyway. I would just wait.

Re: Best Place for XM Reciever

Either way I need a new receiver since I'll be putting in an RNS-E soon and mine wont work with the nav.

That also makes it harder to find someone to swap since they need to be able to use the older receiver, but have the new one to give me.

Is there an advertiser listing somewhere on this site that I can try some of the advertisers and see if they have a good deal on it?

What are you paying for the RNS-E unit? You can pick up an AVIC D3 with a Pioneer XM tuner for a pretty good deal. Then you'll have more features by far than the RNS and you'll get your XM. The XM Nav traffic feature on mine is worth it alone - saved me many times from sitting on a freeway somewhere due to an accident.

I want to keep the factory look and I really like the way the Nav Plus works. Thanks anyway.
