I saw that car at WaterWagens up here in the NW. It went out on the track and ran like a 15....very unimpressive. Plus some hippie with a cowboy hat was driving it.

Those are Miltek exhaust tips and "that engine cover" is the supercharger. And that color is one of the most iconic for Audi S/RS cars ever.

cant see the tips for one nor did i read the full article, so sorry about that one big guy, and I know thats the supercharger but the casing for it is ghastly, they can design something that looks more aesthetically pleasing then that or could at least paint it, and no shit its iconic its nogaro, basically Audi's racing color that doesn't mean I have to like it. So yeah, I have no Idea what I'm talking about thanks for being on top of things..

I've always thought 18" and 19" DTM RS4 wheels were among the best looking "classic" wheels for Audi. Still do. In this case, a gunmetal color would have looked better than black IMO. I'm just a designer though.

And, based on the article, looks like the guy has plenty of MT cars to play with, so he probably doesn't mind the TIP in his S4.

Agreed with cerfus that the SC could use a little dressing. Maybe black with polished lettering?

I'm sure when the car is dialed in properly, it won't be characterized as slow. A stock S4 in normal tune will run the 1/4mi in the 13's, so a 15 second run in a S/C S4 indicates a serious tuning problem.
