Snow day in April! (Pics)

We had a late snow storm that started Friday night. This was the largest snowfall on record for April in Anchorage, AK. We had 18" overnight. Took the S out for some fun Friday night. The first picture is when I got home from work Friday. The second is Monday morning after the snow stopped. So much for spring.

hmmm. what is the weather like month for month in AK? i guess i just assumed it snowed year round there lol. enlighten me.

Used to live in Anchorage back in 96. It does not snow all the time the summer is beautiful. I kinda miss that place.

It's not quite that bad. Almost all of the snow was gone Thursday. Everything is usually blooming by the first week of May. I guess we'll get a late start this year.

NO you don't!!! I like it for a month or two but after that you can't wait for it to be gone. It's impossible to keep your car clean and you can't ever go fast... well you can but it's not a good idea.
