    weird shifting

So in the past month, i've noticed my shifting seeming to be a little loose. like before i had the SS installed. There's play (a little over half of the first joint of my index finger) in neutral. It feels like it's not in gear sometimes even though it is. it just feels downright sloppy. So I lifted my shift cover, and the ball that sits below that big circlip, is sort of moving around in the joint it sits in, the one that themetal shift lever runs through. and that seems liek it is causing the slop. i move the shifter into 1st gear, and at first the ball will move (not just pivot) in the joint, towards first, then it hits the side and 1st will engage.
so will I need a whole new assembly, or what?

That B&M shifter has a aluminum ball, and it wore out that PLASTIC pivot joint. What can you expect?

    Re: weird shifting

You need to install the aluminum ball and then zip tie the plastic surround. That or just get a JHM shifter
