04 s-line brake question

Looking on ECS tuning, it looks like there is a 4 pad system per caliper and 8 pad system per caliper for the c5....Anyone know which brake system is on the 04 s-line?

2002 and up use ATE calipers with 4 pads, 2 per wheel.

^^^ Nope there were different brake setups even within a year. I spoke with so many people about it and finally I had to lift up my car and see what type of break caliper I had in there. If you have an ATE most likely you have a 2 piston caliper with indeed 2 pistons per caliper, but some models came with a 4 pad caliper. Yes 4 pads

The best resource I found was www.autopartswarehouse.com most other warehouses had brake pads, and rotors for all models but the 2.7T. These guys had more than one otion per model. prices are pretty good also... Do yourself a favor and don't get the Pagid pads, most dealers and shops recommend them but they lack bite and generate dust like crazy... At first they didn't, but two months after they really get my wheels dirty within two days.
