fresh front o2's in 30v tip = new car

i told EVERYONE that when i reset the CEL for cat inefficiency i got all the time, the car would drive a million times better. the throttle felt more feathery and in general the auto tranny shifted smoother. when it would come back, throttle feels really heavy and clunky and in general wouldn't shift as well - as if the torque split "shift point" was coming in too late/early and the rpm's weren't there to match it.

i also have/had this clunk when it would shift from 3rd to 2nd. that's is still there, but it seems much more managable (doesn't do it as often and it's much smoother). it seems like i may need to look at tranny mounts/engine mounts, etc.

the other funny thing, is my STEERING feels much lighter, more like the 1.8's and S4's i've driven. i've only driven 1 other 2.8 and it had the same stiff steering but i don't remember if it had any known issues. people don't believe me on this one but i'm TELLING you i'm not making this up. only thing i can think of is it has something to do with the power sent to the wheels. less power then is supposed to = more friction in the turn... ?!?!

the way she's driving now though, she hasn't driven like this in almost 2 years. i'm happy and i don't believe i'll be selling the car at this point. in this love hate relationship, i'm definitely in the makeup sex stage.

    the best stage. mmmm.... baby.

    isn't she sexy

naw that's just the light. yes i did the tails myself and they look about 80% as good as they could. they could be glossier but i buffed them after the clear and everything and didn't wet sand. they still look great.

i'm swapping my chipped painted lowers for some black ones again and i'll consider going a bit lower but these tires are pretty wide and i've already rubbed up front going through a few dips.
