Delsa Motorsports ABT look lip spoiler

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...spagenameZWDVW Has anyone purchased this spoiler yet? The ABT spoilers look awesome but I'm worried about fitment. Since it's fiberglass I'm sure the fitment has to be pretty spot on so it doesn't look like poop. Since it's prepainted you really can't modify it if it doesn't fit perfect. For the price, if it fits well, it might be on my car very soon.

I got spoiler from Delsa, maybe even the same, don't remember. Fitment is almost perfect, I got gaps from the front (of car) and a bit on the right side. I used 3M VHB tape and holds nicely. There is slight different color, but after detailing maybe it will blend better.

Re: Delsa Motorsports ABT look lip spoiler

Did you get the 30 something dollar lip spoiler that is flexible or the fiberglass one that is from that link? The flexible one is smaller than the s4 lip spoiler. If this does fit like the abt one. It should be very close to the s4 in shape and size.

That one is completely different from the one I have.

That doesn't look bad though. I don't think it'd be worth that, considering it does no actual purpose other than looks. I'd go with the cheaper one. They're pretty badass..

Re: Delsa Motorsports ABT look lip spoiler

I know they'll serve no purpose other than aesthetics. But I really want the usp or s4 spoiler. The cheaper flexible spoiler is significantly smaller than the S4. The cheapest I've found has been the votex spoiler for 289 before shipping and paint. So for 90 bux if I fits similar, it seems well worth it. I'm just worried that fiberglass isn't very flexible and if there are fitment issues it will mostlikely look like shit. Hoping someone has tried the exact one in the link. I haven't searched them in a while so I don't know how new this one is from delsa. It's the first time i've seen it so i'm assuming it's fairly new. I know Martini has a knock off on his car, mostlikely fiberglass but i'm pretty sure it's not this one. His looks great in the pics so I'm hoping for the same fitment. Thanks for the input so far.

My original delsa one got a gouge taken out of it and considering I was about to spend ~$200 on a zender, Im going to give this one a shot.

that spoilers looks sexy. I've heard nothing but great reviews on the smaller spoilers, so I have a feeling you wont be disappointed with the abt style. This spoiler is growing on me.

Let us know how it works out if you buy it!

Re: Delsa Motorsports ABT look lip spoiler

My cheap flexible one is perfectly matched to my paint even though i have an 02 denim blue (no difference even with the "paint fade"). Delsa seems like a pretty reputable company to me so I would say for the price go for it. It sounds like a great deal and they were very user friendly and great with shipping and everything. So I would assume fitment would be near perfect.

I personally like the smaller more subtle flexible spoiler, but i am sure many of you like the S4 one. So this would definitely be a better option. GO FOR IT! AND THEN SHOW PICS!

That's what I was thinking... Kinda hard to sell something when you start the fs thread with.. "I don't like the way this looks." I'm debating but might end up purchasing it later tonight.

Re: Delsa Motorsports ABT look lip spoiler

I have the ABT on my silver A4, I'll try to get some pics.
Fitment was fine, I just used the adhesive they sent & some rubber coated weights & painters masking to hold everything where it needed to go.

I will say this, the paint they used was shit & it was like a single coat. mines all beat to hell now. Clear coat it a few times before you install it if you can.
