    ECU compatibility???

    Which ecu box is compatible with M-box?
    I have seen a post with all the good info, I can't find it!
    can someone direct me to that post, or can you tell me what else I could use?
    I need new ECU and I can't find any m-box ecu here or on ebay!!!
    Please help!!!

    what if I can't find any M or T box?
    My car has been sitting in a shop for a couple of weeks, I really need a working ECU!!!
    I was going to get a chiped ecu, but I can't find Neither!!!
    I'm in big trouble...=/

    It will work regardless, but if it isnt the right one it will just set off your epc light which just takes a few seconds to reprogram. I have done that in the past.

    So for M-box, I can use either T(2002) or H(2001) box, but not A(2000) box?

    let me know if you want mine i have a 2002 6spd and i just had to recode the cluster when I got it. I would check for you, but my car is getting its ko4's installed right now!!

    i have a 2000 s4 and it had a-box before i ran stage 3. now its got M-box.. works great, after recoding cluster

    if you put an a-box in your car your cluster will throw a cel until you recode it to match the new ecu, otherwise it would work. someone please correct me if im wrong.. but this is what i did but going from a to m not the reverse

    You can go either way, but you need more than a cluster recode. You also need to swap in the correct MAF sensor for whichever ECU you're using. A box requires Bosch MAF and M/T boxes require Hitachi.
