Which wheels to get (pics inside)!

Ok guys, i have a 2004 A6 S-Line (pics in my sig) and its going to be lowered with either Koni FSD+Eibach or H&R sports with Bilstien shocks, so im asking you guys which wheels do YOU think will look the best on the car, thanks alot!

Wheel 1 ( Audi S8 19x8.5 ET35 )



Wheel 2 ( Audi Concept Nuvo 19x8.0 ET35 )



Wheel 3 ( VMR V715 19x8.5 ET38 - with bmw centers )



im leaning towards wheel 3 the VMR wheels, i like them alot, but i might have to go with wheel 1 or 2 a more OEM wheel, the roads in PA suck really bad, and i may bend then VMR more than once, so let me know, thanks guys!

I guess you can swap out the centercaps, so jump on the VMRs........Where can you get the VMRs?

Thanks for the feedback guys, as for the VMR wheels, they are perfect fit for our A6's, they even clear big brakes, and they weight 28-29lbs each, so that seems pretty strong and oem audi caps are perfect fit, and best part is they are on ebay for about $1000 without tires, so i may go with them, no reason for me to spend a $1000 a wheel for like BBS or HRE, they are going to get bent anyways, so this will be cheap to replace.

Cool. never was a fan of the S6 wheel, it is actually my least favorite part of the car...


I'll sell you mine for $1000 shipped :) and they are a little lighter;)
Are you sre you want 19's? Didn't you say in another post you were worried baout bad orads in your area? YOU defnitely need to get the FSD's if you go with 19's

yeah my roads are really bad, so im going to go with the Koni FSD's, hey is it possible to get Koni FSD's and put H&R Sports springs on them? thanks

It is technicaly possible but they are not tested and certified to work with the FSDs and KONI won't help you ro warranty them if you don't install their FSDs with anything else than stock or EIbach springs (for our car)

im sorry, but no thanks with the RS6 wheels, i dont want the same wheels as the rest of the audi community, everyone buys them, i would like to be a bit diff, and i really dont like the look, i think i will go with wheel 3.

Frank, I would just check with VMR and find out if they have resolved the problem they had with their wheels finish chipping easily. I am not sure if the problem was found on all their models or only in specific finishes. I was looking at jumping on a set a few months ago and started reading within the Zine about a few probs. Hopefully all is good. Nice choice on all three, and even the RS4 OEMs you currently have are cool. I just got a set myself... :-)

Thanks for the heads up, i will deff call and ask about it before i order, yeah i love RS4 wheels, they came with the car, i just wish they were 18inch, but good for winter, thanks alot man, post some pics when you get the wheels!

umm, there are a lot of people with the 715's also.
You're looking at low quality wheels. The VMR and Hartmann are softer and like another member already stated, they have a tendency to flake and chip.
I would spend the extra money now and buy better quality wheels instead of going the cheaper route. It will save you money in the future.
That's just my opinion.

I really don't care if i buy BBS for $5000 its going to bend in a month, im planing on geting 7-9 VMR wheels, you have no idea how bad the roads are here. I had 19 inch BBS LM's on my 350Z and bent 3 of them, and that car only weights 3,500lbs, so if i bend them, it wont cost shit to replace, and if they flake, then i will have to get them refinished, thats all.

Yeah, I have no idea how bad the streets are cuz I live in Chicago.
The streets here are fantastic.
My point was the VMR's and Hartmann have a greater chance of bending, cracking, and flaking than a higher quality wheel.
That's why every other ad in the classified is for rep wheels.
People take the cheap route and then end up spending more in the future.

I live in Chicago with reps, no issues here with bends and potholes. Gf driving and hitting a curb, well, that's another story...
