Car wont start after DP install!?

Well took my buddy and i all weekend to do my piggie pipes, about 10 hrs. Besides the down pipes being a bitch, i was all excited to hear how it sounded and i went to start the car up and it wouldnt even turnover!! I was too pissed off to look it over so i just took it to the mechanic and had him check all fuses and they were all good. So he tried to pop start my starter and it fired right up. So its definetly something to do with the wiring to the starter, right??

Have any of you guys had this problem???

hammer or wrench to it or push start the car. a bad engine speed sensor will not let the car start but i believe it is on the top of the tranny. wish i could help you

This would of had to happen when i was getting the down pipes out or putting them back in. I didnt see any other wires around the down pipes. Is there???

when you say pop start the starter, you mean he supplied 12v to the exciter wire of the starter? if so, how did he get access to it?

or do you mean he pop started it as in he got it rolling then popped the clutch in to start the car?

its probably unrelated to the DP install ... but im not sure what you guys messed with. think starter motor or ignition switch.

Well we got lookin at it today and found that it is the wire runnin from the starter to the ignition. Theres no juice runnin to that wire, so i must have pinched it of cut it off.

Is there a fused link to any of the wires that run to the starter??

ignition switch and clutch switch are in the circuit. There is no fused link AFAIK.
