how to get Paint Code from Vin

Hi,

Does any one know how to obtain the paint code for a specific color e.g. Artic white for a B6 A4.5 Avant 3.0Qmt from the Vin?
Or is it on some sticker someplace on the car. like the tire pressures?

there should be a sticker with your paint code near or around where your spare tire is placed.
if not, dealer can find out for you with your vin.

Mine is in the trunk where the spare tire is held.

in the spare tire well there is a sticker with the paint code its like LY7 something along that sort
