I have been told many times, yes.

I live in SoCal (LA), with piggie pipes and awe twin 2. My smog papers just came in, so I shall find out indefinitely.

yes it's no problem -- i know first hand. i was worried too but it passed with flying colors. the nice thing is with AWD they can't throw it on the rollers - just idle and rev test.. nothing under load. i think it would even pass under load, though.

Cool thanks guys, i think that made up my mind about what to do for exhaust because the SSAC down pipes are straight through and have zero chance in passing smog, right?

Yes, just make sure your car is all warmed up before they sniff it.

You would be shocked to find out how clean our cars run. I just smogged my car and I had to look at the report closely because I thought there were typos. . . all of the numbers were really close to zero. (C02, NOX, etc)

    Re: Passing CA smog

As long as your piggie pipes still retain the secondary cats, you will not have a problem. That is from personal experience, and I had piggie pipes made by mike, the mr piggie, himself.
