Finally joined the club...

After many years of lurking on various Audi forums, I finally pulled the trigger and got one of my own.

Last Tuesday I picked up a 2008 Audi A4 Avant SE 2.0T MT6 Quartz Gray w/Bluetooth, Sport Suspension, Rear Sunshades, Convenience Package.

I was initially looking for used, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for on either side of the border. So I ended up ordering new... and glad I did. Nothing quite like experiencing that new car feeling.

As for mods, I'm not planning anything major. Here are my wimpy existing mods:
1. Rubber All-Weather Audi Floor Mats
2. Windows Up/Down with remote

To come:
1. Clear Bra
2. Cargo mat for rear
3. Winter rim/tire set
4. Chip - probably not for the first year

I know that these don't really count in here compared to what other folks are doing, but it still fits the bill for me. First Audi here and a lot of the standard features are already "Mods" for me.

Anyone have any recommendations for a Clear Bra installer or supplier in the GTA?

It all starts with the mats, vag tweaks, tints, then comes the chip, exhaust, and rims... and sooner or later you'll wonder how you just blew 5-10k lol...

Cool! As for wax'n'polish, I'm still gung-ho enough about the new car to want to do this myself, but in the future, I might take you up on that.

As for now, any recommendations for a clear bra installer in the area? Or is this something that you do as well?

Sorry Alex, I actually bought this on the other side of the border :( It's a US SE Model. I really did try to buy in Canada but I couldn't justify the $8000 in savings...

Thanks. Nope, no NAV. As much as I wanted it, I couldn't justify the cost... already own a portable one that I can put on the dash on the rare occasions when I go somewhere I can't find without a map. But it would have been cool...

I like the Symphony II+ though, 6 MP3 disks is an awful lot of music... Plus the SE comes with SIRIUS satelite radio, so entertainment-wise, I'm set! Now if I worked more than 10 minutes from home, I'd actually be able to enjoy this a lot more... need to come up with some excuses for a road trip :)
