I race once a month auto X with a pretty well organized group. We were doing a play date today and I think i posted some really good times. Here is the time sheets. look at my sig for my upgrades. * and i was runing my street tires not slicks like the Infinity and Subaru group. I beat the stock corvettes yes!!!!!!

*first pic, im William Ferrell *they mispelled my last name i dont care its really supposed to be Farrell*

All the STI's here were running flats. John's cost almost 1200 dollars and only have like 400 mile range i think before they are toast. In auto cross these will cut your times by 4-8 seconds per minute of track. That means i could run mid/high 7's with same tires..

No, what I meant was, your car with those mods isn't classed under stock categories. G doesn't equal novice under SCCA rules, it's just a way of classing your car. Of course, if your club is not running SCCA rules, then i guess it doesn't really matter. Under all the stock classes, you can run R-comps. I'm running in STX right now FWIW.

Re: Stage 1 audi gives sti a run for its money at X

we run SCCA rules with the exception of "our" novice category. which consist of GS GUS (u stands for under 2.5l no forced induction hence i race in GS)

BY the way the nova is great looking, jet black, with tons of suspension work doner. Its heavy and is only a small block but handles really good. The kid that drives it has it set up for tracks not drag. he also knows how to get a rear wheel drive around a corner fast, not show boating tail slides. Hence why the corvettes were slow here. In there case slower is better.
