Tiptronic v 6 speed engine block differences

Hey guys, wondering if someone can help me figure out if there are any differences in the engine block for an engine swap I will be doing soon. I am planning on swapping an engine from a 6 speed 2004 S4 into my 2005 Tiptronic S4 , I have noticed a few minor differences with some electrical connectors and some of the wiring , but I hope the long block is the same for both the manual and tiptronic version S4.
Any one have experience doing a swap like this??

Re: Tiptronic v 6 speed engine block differences

I remember hearing on my 01 tip that the crankshaft was different and would hamper most efforts to change a tip to a 6 speed. I'm not sure if it is the same on a B6. That may have been BS but It would not hurt to check the part numbers with a dealer.

My tiptronic has blown engine , oil pump failed and seized the engine, the car has salvage title so that means warranty is void.
