    Strut tower brace?

I recently purchased the H&R 22mm rear sway bar and its made a really huge difference in handling. I think I'm gonna get the H&R front sway bar which should complement the rear sway bar really well and really improve the handling. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone's gotten a strut brace for their audi or if they even make strut braces. If so, how is it.

Sport models have a brace that runs in the cowl area along the firewall.

The only aftermarket one is from LLTek but they quit making it. your only option would probably be custom

i heard that even tho a rear swaybar dramatically reduces understeer, when u put on a front swaybar, it makes the understeer worse.... is that right or is my source just full of $41T??

Swaybars are usually "matched" so that the car is as neutral as possible in the corners without too much of a tendency to over or understeer. Usually, if you want the car to be tail happy, you upgrade just the rear anti-swaybar. Some aftermarket packages up the size of both with the rear being a bigger increase to improve the overall handling and make the car tend to oversteer.

sounds good.... ecstuning has the oem b7 rs4 22mm rear sway bar for $120 + shipping which is a direct bolt on for the b6. i'm hopin it's a pretty easy install since it's gonna be here soon!! as for the strutbars, i have the sport package and yeah, it has a metal bar that you can see and will be a PIA if you ever have to change u'r battery.. i dont see how a front or rear strut bar could help our audis.....

Putting on only a large rear anti-sway bar will make your car more tail-happy, but putting on a front as well will improve your turn-in and make your car much more able in corners.
