Neuspeed with a test pipe. So I'm catless. I also have a Neuspeed chip. If you're catless, you probably do it more than you think. Rev up to about 5-6 k RPMs in 2nd and 3rd gear and after you hit 6k in 3rd, just let go of the throttle. If you hear a popping sound, you shot some flames.

I had no idea I did it though. He just told me when we parked. Then I saw it on film.

he has got to be catless and freeflowing on the exhaust side... can't be stock either. atleast a chipped. my bro with his GTI shot flames. do you have a BOV? how cold is it? any timing mods? flames on our 1.8ts usually mean a little rich

I miss doing that. My last car was an mx3 and I swapped in a JDM v6 with a testpipe. Use to throw blue flames between 2nd and 3rd quite a bit. Sorry for the JDM content.
