    CPO warranty question

    searched for the answer to this question with no luck....

    if i buy a b7 a4 now that is still under factory warranty but is not CPO, will i have the option to pay for the certified warranty when the factory one runs out?

    i think you have to buy it before 50,000 miles, but yes you can buy it later.

    I asked about this and you can't buy the CPO warranty. You can go to a dealer, sell them your Audi and buy it back with the CPO warranty.

    do people who do that normally lose a lot of money, or is the dealership will to do an even trade plus the cost of the warranty?

    cpo - certified pre owned right? i know my dealer told me i could buy an extended warranty up to 100k. isn't that almost the same thing?
