APR stage kit/GT28R/oil lines

I have a gt28r that will be fitted back to the engine temporarily until i can supply the funds for the gt3071 kit. the oil lines are somewhat crimped and the rubber hose inside looks creased. I am afraid that this will restrict the oil flow to the turbo and could blow up and result send metal into my brand new engine. Sooo.. APR sells these oil lines for $300 which is insane.

Does anyone know of any other place to go get these much cheaper? I understand these are custom or specific sizes but 300$ i think is crazy for two oil lines.

I've heard its cheaper to piece together your own lines by buying the braided line and fittings and having them assembles. It shouldn't be more than $100.

any idea where to go to get the lines and fittings? I am kind of at a loss with these lines.

haha aren't engine builds/turob upgrades FUN?! Damn, I am going to be broke! LOL

I was just told my local Oreilly's auto parts store makes custom hydraulic hoses, so they MIGHT be able to do oil lines also if they have the braided lines for high heat.

you probably need to keep the old lines around so when you get replacements you can show them what you need or measure them for that matter. I am going to try O'reilly's today, I'll let everyone know how I made out. I have to call APR today anyways so i will see what they can do for a "group buy"

I realized i only need the shorter thicker return line, not the longer skinner feed line. Either way its going to be $$$

yea thats a big line and it has flanges crimped on both ends... not you typical AN fittings, but flanges...

That should get you to your block. You'll then have to get an adapter to make the line fit on your block.

apr will only sell them as a kit, no way to piece it out.....

But you need two flanges/fittings right?

One on the turbo and the other on the pan?

i already have those fittings, i just need the hose. the hose was a little creased from me carrying it around for a few months. Don't want to risk the return line not allowing the oil back out of the turbo and causing issues. just playing it safe at this point.
