    rear foglights...

So i have been reading and looking around, but i cant get this answered. Do both of the lights light up on the rear fogs for all years? i have a 2000 and only my driver side rear does. idk if a bulb is out or what. i saw an a6 on the road yesterday night with both lit up... Is this a year model thing? Can i make both sides light up? If its just a burnt out bulb, How do i get to the bulbs?

    Re: rear foglights...

we have a 2001 A6 2.7T and only the left side rear fog works, but on my 2004 A6 S-Line both rear fogs light up, and they go out when you turn on your high beams, but to answer you, NO! the pre-facelift cars only have the left side light up, but im sure you can change that!, good luck!

oh! and to get to it, all you have to do is remove the rear carpet on the trunk lid inside, it has 2 screws at each corner, and then remove the hazard sign, and there is 2-3 screws there also, then just pull kinda hard on it, the carpet just snaps in, its one big panel :)

    Re: rear foglights...

Nope, only the drivers side has a bulb, apparently the passenger side is ready to go. All you have to do is drill out a hole on the backside of the assy, and insert a bulb. I haven't done this myself, but I am certain someone who reads this post will have. They should be able to give detailed instructions.
    I don't think I care anymore

LOL for sure dude. My buddy and i (who used to own an A4) work on our cars all the time. He's over by Harlem and Higgins, right off of 90. We call his garage the "Shady Tree Shop." hahha!

Also, if you need an independent tech, i know of a great one too. He works @ Fletcher Jones Audi/VW/MB. he's done most of the hard work on my car since '05.

PM or email me whenever you need assistance.
    meh..

rear fogs should be considered targets for big trucks/busses.
people who drive with them on piss me off to no end.
