My new B5, comments?

So I sold my previous B5 I bought a little while back.
Got 4,800 and a pretty much brand new beautiful Movado Meza watch.
I am now buying a car my audi mechanic has up for sale (Which he has held for me until I sold my black A4)
It's a 99.5 30v 5spd. Fully loaded. Has every option/package (inclu sport) a 99.5 can have I believe.
I am buying it with the timing belt/WP/Tensioners/Acc belt/APR snub
all changed out this week for $8500
Car has low miles. Drives like brand spanking new.
Let me know what you think. oh and, the pin stripes are off the car currently.. thank god.

I thought 99.5's came with the new cluster? But it looks great. I once had a blue one with pinstripe. God damn i hated that pinstripe. Mileage is nice and low. Congrats!

haha yup real leather. Havent had it since my 00 S4 two audis ago.
as a matter of fact I think the seats in this car are identical to the S4's.
It would have been a + if the interior was black but I can live with a grey on grey car.

The wood grain almost reminds me of flames for some reason, Different from my wood grain. I like it,Very nice looking

haha my mechanic was actually going to just keep the car and supercharge it.
He wanted to make it a little sponsor car for his company. With the mileage it only makes sense right? Unfortunately I wont have a whole lot of funds once I buy this car to drop into it. I'll have to wait a bit. Maybe I wont do any exterior mods to this one and just s/c it and spank people with my four door family sedan. lol

'98 & '99 were very wierd years because of the variation they had on their clusters, I have a 98.5 with the older cluster...and I have a friend that has a earlier '98 with the newer cluster!

I like the center console. I didn't know there was a change in that year. I like the newer style for more of a luxury look, but I like mine b/c I can integrate gauges more easily.

really? I've had them for 8 months and I love them. Sturdy, and they trap water in.

yeah, they definitely serve their purpose well. I just don't like the slippery rubber feeling underneath my clutch foot. Plus they stick out like a sore thumb on the all grey interior..

as a matter of fact I think the seats in this car are identical to the S4's.

The S4 seats are silk napa leather which are softer than the A4 2.8's leather. Nice car you got there.

H&R Race they work well on the Sport shocks in my book and had them on my old 2.8 30v and have them on my current 1.8Tq.

Over time it will... get some shocks and do it right the first time. I had the perched Bilsteins on my B5.

I actually ran neuspeed race with sport shocks and its fukin bouncy its not even funny.

dont do it, i did bilsteins and its like heaven.

I still wouldnt have gotten a 2.8:( i have owned 3 and they were boring.

I've got a H&R and Bilstein combo and it's pretty nice. It's obviously not as nice as smooth stock, but it's not super bouncy, and performs well.
