    1988 Porsche 911 Cab

This is an IMMACULATE example of the air cooled Porsche era. It's a red 911 cabriolet, black leather interior (nearly perfect. Seats in incredible condition), with a 5-speed transmission. The car is in pristine condition, especially given its age. It's had a handful of maintenance in the past few years, and as such remains unbelievably reliable as well as a ton of fun to drive.

This is a Minnesota car, but it is stored in our heated garage all winter. It comes out on April fools day, and hibernates on Halloween. She lives under a Porsche cover all winter, and gets detailed weekly.

The car currently sits at ~90,000 miles and has had the following recent maintenance:

New top last week (The technician, when told that this was the original top responded by saying "I've never seen a top last this long, or look this good -this must be a garage queen.") The top was replaced as it had a minor tear from the top folding wrong.
New top end and clutch were put in two years ago. Less than 10,000 on each of these. Work done by Jeppesen Imports.
A few headlight relays here and there.

Other than that, virtually nothing has been done to the car - it starts right up every spring, and runs like a top all summer. The car is spoiled - runs on nothing but Shell 91 (No ethanol) and drinks only Mobile 1 Full synthetic.

    Modifications:
18" Turbo wheels. I believe they are 9" in the rear, and 8" in the rear (I'll double check), but 285 Yoko ES100s in the rear, with 235 ES100s in the front.
White gauge faces. The stock black faces made the gauges nearly invisible at night. OEM parts.
Pioneer head unit and speakers. The CD function on this head unit doesn't work. Easily replaceable, and can be worked out in the deal.

    Known issues:
The drivers side map pocket is coming apart. We've tried ordering a new one, but keep getting sent the wrong parts. This can be easily re secured, and I'll take care of it once I'm home from school.

I'll get more pictures once I'm home -

Priced at $27,500 Selling to get something more practical. Will consider some trades + cash for a 6-speed B5 S4. Also, please don't hesitate to post or PM for more information.

I wish....Not a great car for this time in my life. You know I'd love nothing more than to keep it.
