    Thumbs up Timing belt Done...

So relieved, finally got around to do my timing belt with Clint yesterday. We did it in about 5 hours and everything went fairly smooth. Thanks to every one who gave me some pointers and a big thanks to Clint.

So here are my findings, I did my TB job with 94K on the car... and there was almost no indication of it being bad. The water pump looked fine, belt looked good, but the tensioner assembly was a little off. There was basically no gap between the tensioner pin and bracket on roller; I guess this could mean my tensioner was failing. Any thoughts, just out of curiosity.

5 hours, not to bad, I did mine in I think 3. My waterpump was leaking but belt looked good at 70,000

    Re: Timing belt Done...

ive been seriously debating whether or not i want to tackle this job on my own......after seeing the prices you guys pay at your local shops, im hard pressed to pay my guy who asks for quite a bit more.....he is a great guy, but no point in paying that much when i could just do it myself i guess....
She said its just a car...i said you're just a girl.

Yes, we removed the front end, that was most of the time. We also put the new snub on and I changed the spring in my DV for GIAC FX flash on Monday. I was nervous about doing it hence why I asked for some assistance, two eyes are always better than one.
