    Hi!

    I was just wondering if anyone have retrofitted the Original Audi rear parking aid kit? Can it be mounted on a non parking aid bumper?
    Anyone used aftermarked kit? My girlfriend is haveing a really hard time parking my car.......

    don't think so... but I know you can get the rear parking aid accessory with aftermarket DVD/Navi like the Pioneer AVIC-D3.

    Ok, have seen some og the aftermark kits out there and I don't think it would look good on the bumper.(sticks out)

    i did it last year when I got hit . I have oem s4 rear bumper with parking sensors the dealer wired it up .

    Ahhhh...nice! If only someone would hit me aswell.........S4 bumper you say!? Didn't know that there was a different rearbumper for the S4, only the difusor.

    looks very simple to install, i just dont like the way the holes look

    You'r right. There are no differense between the S4 and the originale bumper. Only the diffuser are different.

    You can use the parking aid sensors from the Skoda Octavia and mount them on the A4 bumper. The sensors are much smaller than the orignale. I know a guy in the Norwegian Audi club who have don it. You know him too. Roger Kristiansen did it on his A3 Sportback.

    Is the car really that big that you guys need a parking aid? Sounds like a lot of work and money to retro, when a rear view mirror comes standard. When all else fails, make your girl get out and direct you. Ha ha.
