Thanks. Your are right, the titanium package was not an option on the S4. So after learning that and the help of an titanium packaged RS4 VIN, I ordered the parts and made my own. All the parts are OEM, except for the painted lower rear bumper assembly. I had them paint the grey to match the Satin Black filler plate. I am pretty happy with the results. Little pricy, but worth it in my opinion.

It would still look good, but in my opinion, if one stars with the titanium one should leave with the titanium. Audi did a great job designing the look of that car. I absolutely love that car "as-is". I was a pen-mark away from buying a black titanium 3.2L quattro, but I splurged for the V8.

Hmm, that looks like a Sline Titanium package grille.
The Rs4 grille is a honeycomb design.

Neal: I agree. I'm looking for a set of 19s and will relegate the ti pkg wheels for winter duty. I like Audi OEM wheels and I thought of getting RS6 five spoke wheels but decided to go with RS4 reps in gunmetal instead to maintain the ti pkg theme. I'm also planning to paint the mirror housings and the rear valence to match the wheels. Your car reminded me of the car in the top pic when I first saw it.

Audi never sold a B7 s4 with a blackout grille, that is what ECSTuning is calling it. In all actuality it is an OEM Sline Titanium package grille. Found on A4's.

It is definitely not the S-Line grill found on A4's. From far away, and probably by my pics, it looks like the S-Line grill but up close it is far from it. It is the factory S4 grill but in black. When you compare this grill with my stock grill, they are identical in design. If you look close, the vertical grids on the S4 grill are made up from 2 columns rather than one like the S-Line has. From what ECS says, its only an option on some "special'' European S4s.

thanks for the kind words. Yes, the titanium/ blacklines around the windows make all the difference in the world. It was a pricy mod, but well worth it. I had the guys from Eli's body shop on the 3rd street do the install.

I live in WeHo. Got to love the S4's in this town. It is a very rare car here in the jungle of A4's. DTM even more rare; Beautiful car btw!

I have always used Meguires for the paint. The 3-Step method works great. I try to get a clay bar in there every 6 months or so. I also use the Leather Masters system for the Leather. Best leather cleaner ever!! No greasy residue at all.
