OEM 18" USP Rims + 8 Tires - NE

These wheels are OEM USP wheels. they were refinshed less than a year ago.

3 of tires are worn on the inside and will need to be replaced shortly. 1 was replaced less than 500 miles ago. They are 235/40/18 Sumitomo HTR+

I have a set of worn 235/40/18 Contisports, that have a small amount of tread left that are being thrown in for free.

There are a few small nicks on 3 of the wheels, 1 is close to perfect. No major curb rash, damage or bends on any of the wheels.

They will need a good cleaning because of build up of brake dust in a few spots that was left on when they were taken off before winter. I started to clean them and it was coming off, but did not finish. There are also a few spots that look like drip marks. I think that is from wheel cleaner solution after they were refinished.

A serious cleaning and polishing will likely remove many of the imperfections.

These wheels look great from a normal distance, but I wanted to fully disclose what I noticed about them.

What is the reason for the refinishing? Are the brake dust baked in or just the surface? Im very interested but I want to confirm that the wheels will clean out. Is it possible to clean to so I can see if the brake dust will come off and not leave a yellowish color on the wheels?

They were refinished because my wife curbed 2 of them and I paid extra to have all four redone. I cleaned 3 of them and the dust came off with some work. I just have not had time to do the fourth wheel.

I'd even come down a little in price to get them out of my garage.

I know it's a longshot, but would you be willing to split up the set?

so those streaks shown are from the cleaning or from the refinishing? can you wipe them down and tell us?

The streaks are not easily seen unless you get up close to the rims. I think a wheel cleaner was left on too long and made the color off in a few spots. These are good looking wheels, but I wanted to fully disclose everything I noticed.

I will not split the set.

Do you know the offset? Is a fifth wheel available? Thanks.

No fifth wheel is available. I think the offset is 38, but not sure. I had them on a B6 A4, and a C5 A6 with no issues. They are OEM so it should be easy to find out from the A4 forum.
