Question Which sensor do I need to replace for this problem??? (w/ PICS)

Hey guys just cruising along and this happy little warning pops up on the dash (refer to pics below) .....[O_O]

Wondering is it the sensor on the bottom of the oil pan the one I need to replace? Also I also did notice a little leakage on my garage floor but not a whole lot to be honest. Anything else you think it could be? Waiting to get it up in the air for more assessment. Just want to make sure that this is the right sensor I need to replace so I can order it Monday.

Also safe to drive? I kinda need to get to and from work yet until the part arrives.

    TIA for your help...

From your pictures, it seems to be the oil-temp sensor. Do you have a VAG-COM? I don't think this would be a DIY project either...

Doh! No vag. I hope that it is a DIY or even better that sensor on the bottom of our oil pans. Won't be able to get it up in the air until tomorrow to assess where the leak is coming from too.

    Anymore input is appreciated!
also, car still ok to drive in the current state?

I've never seen that before, but it appears to be the oil level sensor. The one on the bottom of the oil pan. Get the car in the air and inspect it before doing anything crazy. I would make sure you have oil on the dipstick before driving the car.

I had the same problem. It's your level/temp sensor. It's on the bottom of the oil pan. It should take you about 2 minutes to replace.

This is the part number from ECS

part is ordered but won't be here for a few days! Car still okay to drive until then? Also got the car up in the air and can't pin point the leak but it seems to be very minimal because oil levels are still ok.

It should be fine to drive. You just get the annoying beep every time the sensor light comes on.
