Supersprint Size

I just won a Pair of Supersprint mufflers on ebay for my 1.8t w/gtrs, My question is does any one know of the diameter of the inlet piping.

Im gonna do a cat relocation to under the car, with a custom 3" down/testpipe and then a 3" 1 into 2 resonator then to the supersprint mufflers.

any recommendations before i head to the Muffler Shop?

the piping for super sprint 2"OD, mandrel bent to fit over the OEM 1.75 OD pipes. I took it to Lou's Custom Exhaust in Peabody and they did a excellent job, 2.5" from Down Pipe Back into a single resonator, and then a perfect 2.5" into 2" Y mated up to the New Super Sprint Mufflers.

The sound is great, refined and smooth is the best description for it. I Love it, It has no drown and is quiet for commuting but it sounds good.

I have had Magna Flow and, Other straight through mufflers on other cars but this is by far the best sounding exhaust i have heard on a 4cyl turbo. Unfortunately I can not post a video clip, no good way to import a sound byte.

But this whole system cost me less than 750. installed.

Before any one say anything about the down pipe and cat. i am gonna have that done separately because i want to retain a cat but move it down under the car. and there are better ways to do that than a custom on car set up.

how about some pics or an audio clip? I am curious to hear how the Super Sprint exhaust sounds on a 1.8T. I had one on my old 2.0 16v Jetta and really like it.
