    Key fob stopped working (yes, the battery is good)

    So, I removed the steering wheel to replace my broken turn signal arm. I used these directions

    When I reconnected the battery, the remote does not work any more. Was the battery off for so long that I lost the codes or what?

    I did unplug the control module and the SC Ring for a few minutes so I could get to the turn signal arm, but they are plugged back in.

    Any thoughts?

    Your owner's manual has instructions for reprogramming it. I forgot the exact sequence

    hmmm, just went back to the car to get the manual and it all works now.

    Next time, put the key in the ignition and turn to acc but don't crank. Wait 5-10 seconds then remove the key. Test remote by hitting the unlock button.
