New visual mods. Opinions?

K so I'll do a little bit of a before and after here. Stock vs what I have done in the last few days. Oh and I tinted the tails and debadged myself, just did it like 2 days after i got the car so I don't have any pictures completely stock. Sorry for the crappy cell pics, I'll take better ones when I get the digi back.

After the LEDs it just makes me want to stop being lazy and paint my headlight housings black, take the ambers out, and do LEDs. I'll probably do it tonight.

Well Ill be the first to say that I am not a huge fan of black wheels on white cars but thats just my .02. Always a good thing to see DIY mods around the car.

You defiantly need to lower that whip.

Its not how I would have done it but its not my car. Beautiful thing about modding is you can do it to your individual taste.

Not a huge fan of the black on white or the tails, but at least you are staying with a theme...would prolly do the headlights soon, make that front look abit more attractive...Keep modding tho

I can honestly say that if that was my car I would have NEVER done any of those DIY mods to it. Blacking out things on a white looks dirty, IMO.

Like everyone said, its your car, and it should exhibit your individual taste....just as everyone on the boards are entitled to their opinions of it, no matter how much they think it looks like shit.

lol ^^ ouch but im with them, the led's look bad and the wheels as well. however i like the tinted tails but i cant be posative because of the pics, if you did them right with the nightshade and wetsand, etc then i like them lol, if you just sprayed them with black paint then i hate you.

Lol its funny a guy did a writeup on those rims and he did the circle red. everyone loved it.

Blue LEDs definitely didn't turn out how i wanted, but i bet everyone would be throwing different opinions if i had used white.

Yes the tails were done with wetsand and nightshade. and clear coat.

Im thinkin maybe its the pictures because i've had nothing but compliments in person.

Edit: I'm 19 and as you can see from my avatar i hate honda. Funny how you try a few out of the box things and people have nothing but negativity haha

Suprised you just didnt rattle can the car black while your at it. I would have left it stock just my opinion from a previous pearl audi owner. i would have only painted the roof black.

Not digging the front end. The wheels are ok but some aftermarket black wheels with a chrome lip would look even better. Some better pictures would help. Oh and screw Honda.

Pretty much what it comes down to is the audi community doesnt like any mods that cost you less than ~$1000

It looks WAY better than stock IMO. Sorry that i like to stand out a little? haha

I was going for the a6 fog light look and just happened to have blue leds sittin around.

leds would be better in white at least thats what I think but whatever makes you happy is whats important

i think the front would look a bit better if you put your license plate back on there and get a rs4 grill

But seeing that you are 19, when I was 19 I wanted to put LEDS on my car, and even just a few years ago I wanted to get smoked tail lights for my A4 when I had it, but now I'm low 30's and none of those mods look good to me at all. So basically I think its just your taste and can def see why you like those things at your age. I'm sure your taste will change as you get a little older.

But to each his own and have fun with your car!

Glad you understand. And I understand why people keep theirs looking stock. It's just not for me.

Rims look like shit in the pictures yea. Not in person.

Im still running my temp plate so no need for a front yet. I'm doing FMIC so i'll be cutting out the center section before i need plates anyway.

And i'm not mad about their opinions. It's just frustrating the way they express them. Honestly i couldn't care less what other people think. It's my car and i definitely love it.

Pretty sure it used to be casa and was painted pearl.

I'm going to try white LEDs before completely removing them. If it doesn't make it look better, I'll remove them completely.

tails and wheels are fine bro. front end wise i would try to source a filler plate with no holes in it or bondo the one u have and get it resprayed. leds- maybe if you took the bumper off and hid them behind the grilles so only visible when on? and make them white. just some opinions to help ya out in making it look a little cleaner but theres nothing wrong doing whatever u want with the car. imo those things will make it look much cleaner tho =)

I should probably create a thread because it would be quite interesting and I've never seen one... but why would people want to de-badge our cars when we technically have the highest end model of our style in the US? Shouldn't we be strutting our stuff like any other nice car does?

And as much as those rims don't really fit with your car, I did have the same kind of rims (- the white center) on my old black s4. but I suppose that color is a little safer...

If you kept everything alone and just did the LED's it would have came out good. But I also would not have done blue led's.

Some people should just not be aloud to buy spray paint.
