have fun installing those! i recommend using a impact wrench taking the top suspension bolt off or you'll just be spinning it all day (well, that was the case when we did my homie's a4 and another buddy's r32)

actually i have the sport 02 suspension and on my 18's i have less than a finger gap in the rear and maybe a finger and a half in the front!

02 sport is HELLA lower than 03+
i put on s-line springs from a b7 and it barely did anything at all.

if you dont have access to an impact gun already, do what i did -- go to lowes/home depot and pick one up on a credit card... use it, take it back.

With '02 suspension he should be pretty low. i have '02 suspension with 19's and i think its perfect.

Yup, shawn is exactly right, and he pics above are proof, and so is my car sitting outside....02 sport suspensions give the illusion of a revere rake

I have the sport suspension on my 03... I like it a lot. It's not slammed but looks more aggressive than the stock 4x4

The "reverse rake" is just an illusion because the wheel well in the front sits higher than the one in the back. Factory setup is "perfectly" even. I put in quotes because of course each one will have their slight variations. If you set your car perfectly level... you WILL have more gap in the front than in the back.

Conversely... when you set the wheelgaps the same for both front and back, you will have a rake.

3x3 is fine with me lol. None of those pics look bad at all unless you're really picky, in which case hopefully you have the money to be. For me and my situation though, I'm perfectly happy with these. Plus I dont really wanna go lower because of the roads/my wheels.

u'r comin pretty far with u'r a4... how's that diverter valve?? i got those eyelids painted and put on and i couldnt imagine how the car would look w/out them now...

Haha, glad to hear you're enjoying them... Actually I didnt put the DV on yet because I figured I would just wait until I actually get chipped because I was a little cash tight at the time, but ironically, I'm getting chipped APR 1+ in about a week, so it should be on shortly!

If your strapped for cash i would recommend trying to install those yourselves. I'm 17 like i believe you are and It's really not that hard even if you don't have much experience working on cars. You might need a friend to help with a few things like getting the rear springs out but overall the install is pretty straight forward.

yeah. just need someone whos pretty beefy to step on the hub while you pull the spring out. (given you have no spring compressor).

I wanted to take my car to my friends house to put it on jacks and get the dv on but my dad wouldnt let me cuz he just has this thing with jacks cuz he saw someone die under one unfortunately, so idk I might bring it to my other friends house who has a lift in his garage which is a little safer. it is possible to do it from the top of the car, provided you have smaller arms than me... but trust me, if money is tight, it's soooo easy to do it yourself than to pay someone. wanna see ur' old eyelids?? http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZNL5tDJSKNc since that vid, i got the rear lip spoiler put on, and i have my injectors for 1+, 2 days ago i ordered a 22mm rear swaybar from the b7 rs4 from ecstuning for 133 shipped, and finally smoked side markers from ebay.. once i get the last 3 things done, i'll try to make another vid.. lemme kno what ya think!!




ps... u goin to waterfest this year? englishtown, NJ, july 19th and 20th... me and a couple buddys from up here are goin down that way and i'm prob stayin the night in nyc w/ my aunt...
