    Just did the rebuild. Took about 22 hours from start to finish including removing and re-installing the tranny.

    22hrs is hauling ass lol. Thats about how long it takes me to do Honda transmissions...and you can almost just reach in the car and pull those things out with your bare hands. I havent had to remove an S4 trans yet...but im sure its much more involved than with a Honda. Impressive!

    csre9- I cant tell you how long itll take because ive never done it. The only advice i can give you is to take your time and triple check everything...a good manual also helps tremendously. Most f-ups come from people rushing and doing something stupid...i know from personal experience lol. Good luck man.

    dvs an i did a trans swap in 11 hours. we had a lift and it was still a pain... im going to have to fix my trans soon too and im just going to have someone else do it. its to time consuming, id rather pay to never have to do that again. i think its easier to just pull the motor with the trans than just to pull the trans. take that with a grain of salt.
