I just got my car last week, and im going to need to have the oil changed eventually, and hopefully will never need any other service, but knowing a good local shop for these things wont be a bad idea.

I know that i have seen some people from the sacramento are posting on the forums, so i figured someone could give me some good recomendations

    Thanks

I may do the oil changes myself, im not sure yet because i dont really own any tools or have ramps, or a good means to transport used oil.

So until i can figure out those hurdles ill still need a good place to take her

well then any oil shop should do just make sure you tell them synthetic oil and find out what kind they use, its sooo much more than conventional oil tho

changed my oil today with NO jack or jack stands. Just look right under the front-center right of the car and you can see the big honkin' 19mm staring right at you. The oil filter should twist right off with a remover.

    Re: Sercive Locations in Sacramento

Stay away from 2Bennett for oil changes. I went in for an oil change once and came out with a $142 bill for some unauthorized service/parts plus a "full sythetic" $80 oil change. I can't tell you the number of times I went there and they just took liberties fixing crap and stuck me with a retarded expensive bill (I have the receipts to prove it if you're interested). I swear I spent over 10 grand in that place from them "fixing" crap all just to end up with a weaksauce APR 3-. Guess it's the price I paid for being a NOOB. Don't get me wrong, they are a very talented group of guys when it comes to Audis but their customer service sucks (even more since Ken's accident). Drove me to start wrenching on my own shit.

i would lear to change my own oil and possibly learn to do some other engine work with the s4, in the end you will be raped by service for this car if you arent aware of that already. Id be happy to show you how to do oil if you want.

    Re: Sercive Locations in Sacramento

    Thanks for the info guys

i know how to change my oil, ive done it on past vehicles, its just my last car (crappy mustang) sat really low and it was just easier to take it somewhere than try to contort my body to get to the oil filter.

When it comes time for her first oil change ill prolly do it myself and then gauge from there if its worth the money to pay someone to do it for me (lazy)

    Again thanks for the info

We don't generally do small services at our shop (don't have the time since we primarily develop products and do major modifications). Will do them with bigger jobs though.

But when you get serious about modifying your car I would be more than happy to give you the advice and the product recommendations I know work. I am 1 hour south of you and frequent Sac Raceway.

We will actually be at Sacramento Raceway all day tomorrow for the Test and Tune and Grudge Fest. Come on down and look for the Audis if you got the time. My name is Jason.
