A new S4 Owner and a couple questions

I just got my first S4 (a B6 '05) in March. It's a CPO 6MT in Red with the light grey/black interior. I absolutely love it. I've been lurking on here for a few months and after driving the car for a while I have a few questions. The first one was related to a rattle on start up that a post today just answered.

The next is... I have searched and can't really seem to find a DIY on how to install a V1 without the fancy display on the dash. Just a simple hardwire. The next question I have is... does anyone have a CB radio installed?? I live out in Oklahoma and drive frequently to Colorado and the CB is nice for many features including a heads up on the local fuzz and especially in Oklahoma the weather band. I was looking at a Cobra wxst 75 for it's small size but didn't know if anyone had any better recommendations.

Cant help you with the V1 or CB. I suggest binoculars. Cant you see a good 5 miles down the road anyway ?? Easy to spot the Police with no trees.

How big is the antenna for a CB?
