    *** Custom Bolt-on Heatshield for the B6 1.8t and the B7 2.0t *** $90 SHIPPED

Hey guys, I originally made my own for my own car, but then had enough material to make seven more [O_O]

I have already sold three and I have four left to sell.

The heatshield even uses the that VERY expensive "NASA" material: Reflect-O-Cloth. It also bolts in place not just sits in place like the sellers over in the classified section. It worked wonders. Keep in mind it wont work with the stock airbox. After 90*F weather and MULTIPLE passes at the dragstrip, I popped the hood and the metal around the airfilter was cool to the touch

This heatshield will fit the B6 1.8t and the B7 2.0t engines! I have already sold two heatshields to two B6 owners and also sold one to a B7 2.0t owner and he said that it fit/bolted up perfectly and sealed great!

Here are some pics of the heatshield bolted up to my B6 and dvsownsu's B7 (Thanks again for the pics dvsownsu! ) **Please notes this is only for the K03 and K04 turbos!***

    B6 1.8t

Here is where it sealed against the hood:

    **The filters are not included**

    B7 2.0t

Where the shield bolts up to (both for the B6 and B7):

Furthermore, this shield literally bolts into place and doesnt wedge up against anything.

I originally wanted to make a heatshield for my own benefit, but decided to buy excess of the materials, and ended up with ALOT left over, lol.

So there are four heatshields left over for sale.

    Like I said, they BOLT-UP to a B6 and B7 turbo engine!

    $90 SHIPPED!

    Please PM me!

Does this work with the Carbonio or only open-element?

    Only open-air element.

But I was able to get the heatshield to still fit with the stock airbox...with just minor bending and trimming...so if the carbonio is fairly the same dimensions as the stock airbox you could possible get it to fit.

/\ sent you an email...but just to reitterate:

that picture was when I VERY first installed the airfilter and THOUGHT that I needed it to hold everything in place. But soon after I realized that the snorkel combined with the pressure of the heatshield kept everything in place with absolutely no problem!

Hey man, yea I saw your thread on it...I didnt mean anything bad about it, actually quite fancy them

I actually just sold the last one yesterday. I got ALOT more interest in this shield than I had anticipated!

I will leave it like this:

If anyone else is interested in this shield, PM me, and if I get a good bit more interest than I will continue to make them!
