    Labree Motorsport Hi-Flow Cat Q?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I got my hands on a Labree Motorsport Hi-Flow cat.
Anyway, after install would it throw a CEL? I have my stock downpipe.
And do I need to do a non-fouler mod?

I believe that is what onemoremile runs, and iirc he doesn't have a cel... but he would be the man to ask

What count is it 200/400 if its 200 it most likely will throw a CEL so fouler mod should work but a 400 should not.

Re: Labree Motorsport Hi-Flow Cat Q?

LaBree is a 400 count cat and I have one also. I only ever received the CEL after running my car at the track and hot lapping the car during practice two weeks ago. I cleared the code and I haven't gotten one since. I've had the labree since October. Wonderful product. No defouler either.

Re: Labree Motorsport Hi-Flow Cat Q?

I have a 2001.5 too and had the 300 cell HFC. You will throw a cel sooner or later but its not big deal. The Motronic 7 is a picky management and will tell you when something is wrong. The HFC works great and is worth it but the CEL sucks sometimes.

Re: Labree Motorsport Hi-Flow Cat Q?

got the 400 cell and have neer had a check engine light. However it does keep giving me a code that says something like main catalyst over threshhold or something. It comes back eventually after i clear it but still no light.

Re: Labree Motorsport Hi-Flow Cat Q?

Don't know what cell count it is but I've had it for several years and never had a CEL. I've run it on the track too without issue. I've put maybe 40k miles on the HFC.
